The MPP from xicon we sell are excellent for upgrading or improving your std electrolytics by using them as bypass caps, the principle works for all caps . We have been using this method for over 15 years. the idea is that a small bypass is much better in HF then a large cap be it mkp or other .Currently a popular type is the Vishay MKP 1847, but the MPP is slightly better.
The funny thing with capacitors is that its extremely difficult to measure differences but they can be clearly heard.

Soundwise, they are precise and have a very warm and pleasant sound signature which is mainly characterised by its softness and yet everything is there, all the finest details just float, no loss of air.

Mundorf Silver foil Oil supreme & Silver Gold Oil Special Mundorf know how. Build from 2 caps wound in opposite direction. the gold version has an improved crystal structure . I personally hear little difference but i do appreciate them immensly. And the ones without oil are not as good. |
Excellent for tube amps and speakers. For some these are the best and for some these are to uninvolving.. |
Sonic wise actually very invisible or inaudible, which means you dont hear it.

Jensen Alu & Copper en Zilver foil
The big difference with these compared to other caps are that these use real foil and not metalised foil.It makes them heavier and bulkier but u do get a worldclass sound for it. |

Its a good cap, detailed and very live sounding, actually
it has the same effect as changing your whole cabling to silver cables
for a fraction of the cost.

MKP Cross Cap & other polypropyleen types, This is
the std that 15 years ago was the reference so still a very good upgrade
for a fraction of what they used to cost.

Excellent replacement for older MKT caps, I also replace
all Wima and other types by these.

Very usefull for powersupplys cause they are cheap.

Still a good bargain, cause they are soft on the ears,
they lack in detail but they dont distort ;)

Should be used in powersupplys for greatest effect.

Needs a long burn in, cause they tend to be very analytical
as they have awesome low noise floor.
