Seas & excell :

A few comments ,

UNO ) many excellent units available from many different brands , dont overpay as no revolution has happened yet , meaning a good unit still

is made from a good magnet , small magnet gap and precise winding of voice coil ( all of this is not visible from the outside )

DUO )there is no best membrane material , Paper is still regarded as excellent for bass/mid drivers , kevlar , carbon , polypropylene ,ceramic

metal types and polystyrene types all offer advantages AND disadvantages so no winner here .

TERTIO )dual ventilated voice coils are a must for clean non compressed sound ( at + 10dB to speaker sensitivity )

Quattro )Look at time delay for resonances , this will tell you all you need to know about a speaker .
