6C33 OTL amp

I have never been convinced by OTL designs , simply because it is not the nature of the tube itself , a tube is not a current device , it doesn't like to supply current , it likes to swing voltage .

As a general rule the more current it most deliver the higher distortion is .

Another fault of all Futterman and circlotron designs is that in order to have the outputtubes working at theire lowest impedance possible the lower tube has a gain of less then 1 , the upper just above 1. this is offcourse not linear at all , feedback mut be used to tame the issue . and all of this just to avoid 1 outputtransformer , !!!!!!!!

this circuit is very neat , only 2 coupling capacitors in direct signal path .
