Another PSE 300b design

Here MR Schuetze asked for an adaptation of Maciej designed 5842 with a powersupply that would work , as his speakers are 87dB/w/m i did agree he needed the extra power .Again nothing fancy , it is all straightforward and simple .The hybrid rectifier solves all the inconveniences of tube rectification = 2 windings on transformer , but keeps all advantages of it .( the tube is the limiting device and for each cycle the ac wave goes through one tube diode in series with a silicium diode , the tube slows down all current peaks and thats it , as the silicium diode is so much faster , it has to track the tube )

I also added some coils for the smoothing of current peaks in the filament rectification , please note this powersupply is for monoblock only.

for stereo , you need AT LEAST an extra powertransformer .

I've seen on the web also similar design with the LL1660/10mA and LL1627/140mA , none of these is ideally suited for the application , allthough they will certainly work with a slight loss in bass extension and in general less tight bass , ( you know the fluffy kind of bass THAT ALL TUBE AMPS are known for , except mine )
